This meatball recipe is on constant rotation in our house — not just because it’s incredibly easy, but because it’s insanely delicious.
We especially love it for meal prep. The meatballs store beautifully and pair with just about anything. But our favorite way to enjoy them is sharing with friends and watching their faces when they realize the most delicious meatballs they've ever had are actually gluten free and dairy free. It never gets old!
This recipe can be easily customized to include or exclude any ingredients you don't have on hand or are allergic to. We have changed the spices, used different cheeses, and even changed the protein! Whatever edits you make, we promise you will love it!

GLUTEN FREE - DAIRY FREE RECIPE
Meatball Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 slice gluten free bread
- 1/4 cup dairy free feta (Follow Your Heart is the best but Violife is a close second)
- 3 tsp garlic
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp dill
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 cup parsley
- salt and pepper
Garlic Dill Dip Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup mayo or dairy free sour cream
- 3 tsp garlic
- 2 tsp dill
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper

Meatball Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey

INSTRUCTIONS:
Meatball Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a big bowl and mix with your hands until thoroughly combined. You can use a utensil, but it is so much easier to mix with your hands.
- To shape the meatballs, you can either use your hands and roll them into a ball or an ice cream scooper. They aren't perfect balls, but they are good enough for me!
- Add avocado oil to a pan (or your preferred oil) and set to medium. Once hot, add in your meatballs and brown on all sides.
- Always check the temp with a thermometer. Once cooked to temp, add them to a serving dish with a lid to keep them warm while you make the dip.
Garlic Dill Dip Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
- Taste and adjust accordingly.
Putting the Recipe Together:
- The meatballs are excellent on their own, but you can also make it a complete meal with our olive relish and turmeric garlic rice.
